The 7th Annual Minority MBAX Case Competition unites top MBA candidates from across the country and gives them the opportunity to apply their savvy critical thinking ability to a current business challenge presented by LMI and compete for $9,000 in prize money.
Teams
Each team will consist of 3-4 members. At least 50% of the team must be comprised of individuals from an ethnic minority group. One faculty/staff member may serve as the advisor and should attend the competition. Provided by LMI, the case is based on real government issues, allowing top MBA students the opportunity to demonstrate their strategic, analytical, and communication abilities on practical pressing problems.
Prize Money
First Place: $5,000, Second Place: $3,000, Third Place: $1,000.
Registration
The registration fee is $300.00 per team and includes tickets for meals, dinner reception, MBAX workshops, and complimentary access into the HUMBA Career Fair Expo. Students are strongly encouraged to setup interviews with interested companies. The deadline for registration is Friday, October 14, 2011.
*The first 15 teams to register will receive free housing accommodations.* (Each team will be placed in two double rooms for Friday and Saturday)
