Greetings,

I am pleased to invite you to the 13th Annual MBA Exclusive (MBAE) hosted by the illustrious Howard University MBA Program. The MBA Exclusive is a three-day conference which includes a full day career fair, interview sessions, and corporate-sponsored networking receptions, breakfasts, and luncheons, ending with a National Minority Case Competition. Our goal is for each conference attendee to gain and take from the conference new knowledge of how to be an effective leader in today’s rapidly changing society and inspire others to excel above and beyond.

MBAE 2008 will provide an excellent opportunity for your company to gain access to an outstanding pool of MBA students while simultaneously expanding the breadth of your recruiting activities and enhancing your company’s relationship with Howard University students, faculty, staff and administrators. In addition, minority students from the Washington DC area and consortium are highly encouraged and welcome to participate.

Howard University’s MBA Program has gained both national and international recognition while consistently growing in both the areas of population and corporate partners. For six consecutive years (2003-2008), the program has received top honors. Once again Princeton Review ranked the HUMBA Program No. 1 for “Greatest Opportunities for Minority Students.” Additionally, the Program was ranked amongst the Top 10 programs for "Most Competitive Students" by the Princeton Review. In fall 2007, the Fortune Small Business Magazine ranked our Program among the top 26 MBA Programs as “America’s Best Colleges for Entrepreneurs.” Lastly, in 2005, the Wall Street Journal voted our program top three for hiring minority students. The Howard MBA student’s competitiveness is due to well balanced leadership development series, sponsored by Citigroup, and a rigorous academic experience. In the classroom, students engage in case-based discussions using real world applications while keeping abreast of industry news and information. This lends to the student’s ability to make managerial action-oriented decisions. Ultimately, the program provides comprehensive education, mentorship, development, and honest professional feedback that shape some of the most talented managers in business.

I encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to become better acquainted with the Howard University MBA program and the students who have contributed to its success. I look forward to seeing you in Washington DC at the 13th Annual MBA Exclusive 2008, October 30th - November 1st!
